This happened this morning :D

Going to return the Classic Jerseys and all the medium sizes. Trade team jersey on the right is now down to £45 and it's a really nice jersey. The club/sky ones are the Merino type jersey, think a bit too warm for this weather, but going to come into their own in a month or so's time I'm sure.

Wore my new Castelli Entrata jersey this morning, absolutely perfect for the sweltering heat, as it is only one step above mesh, so just lets the air flow across you.

You'd be surprised. I was out in a Torm sportwool (merino mix) jersey today and it was alright. My head was sweating more than anything else!!

Cool, contemplating giving one a try out on the club run tomorrow, but wary of being a wee bit hot.

Don't think I need any jerseys for a while now at least. Just need another pair of bibs at some point. Will keep an eye out for the sales.

Got talked into a 30 mile circuit tomorrow morning, by a close mate who has started riding quite a lot recently. Pretty sure this is my first leisure ride this year, ie not commuting, shopping or pubbing. I'm interested to see how my knee fares because I've been struggling with it recently despite seeing an osteopath. Sometimes it eases off mid-commute, but by Christ it was bothering me yesterday; I think caused by doing a lot of walking last week in knackered Converse.

It's right in the joint. The osteopath thinks I've got a couple of alignment issues on that side, based on my knee tracking when I walk and squat and the angle that my foot naturally tries to go to on that side. I'm guessing my knee does the same when I pedal, so it ends up rubbing and I feel the discomfort. It's probably not helped by the fact that I have a historic injury on that knee from a car crash that I had keyhole surgery on. In fact, it's probably the original cause.

More or less ok. Some of the cuts are deep, I was very, very lucky not to hit a car coming the opposite way or land badly after my gymnastic impression. Wounds dressed by a nurse and had a tetanus just in case, but yeah I think it will hurt in the morning. :p

Wish they still sold these :D

Second day yesterday. I wasn't too bad as I'd been very careful to pace myself on the hills yesterday. Unfortunately the other two with me were injured though so we struggled along at quite a sedate pace. I think if we'd gone at the pace I wanted I would have ran out of steam pretty quickly anyhow.

That looks painful :( Glad that it's not that bad.

Seems like someone local is getting trigger happy with the hazardous segment flag

Decent ride today, not amazingly quick but having had just over 2 weeks off the bike my legs felt very fresh!

Found out why my Hplusson wheel fills up with water.

No drain hole in it like other wheels, so the box section fills up with water and has nowhere to go. Changed the tyre and still water in there from 3 weeks ago.
