I bet they had a pair kicking about the office and that was it.

Did you ever try Siroko(?) was that any good

Yeah. I got the SRX model. They’re better than others I’ve had but mainly stuck with budget options prior to that.

Have ordered some Addis Mille GTS c2 so will see how they compare.

Yeah that’s definitely the annoying part. It’s not even like it was a pricing error which is now fixed they could hide behind.

I’ve gone with the GTS model for only €30 more expensive so I’m hoping that and the redshift seatpost will make everything super comfy!

I find it annoying they're still showing as available on their website... I could order another pair now?!

I reckon interest was higher than then thought and probably got tonnes of orders

It was a ridiculous price for Assos stuff so no wonder it had a lot of interest

I’ve actually been eyeing up a lot of the VR stuff. Helmet, glasses and bibs. I’ve heard from people that have used even the lower range stuff and it all sounds superb
I like their endurance shorts/bibs, pocket on the side too for gel/phone what ever is super useful, pad is comfy enough for my rides and quality seems spot on. £40ish a pair is not bad imo

These are the ones I’ve just ordered.

I head some ropey things of the glasses scratching easy. Really want some sun gods but I’ve spent enough!

I've got some cheapo photochromic cycling glasses from aliexpress for £2.50 haha, meant to be okay but we'll see. Always worth a try at that price.

Yeah. Can’t argue at that.

I’ve some Siroko ones but they just feel cheap and I fancy treating myself. I could do with some normal sunglasses too and they’re doing a free pair at the moment.

Just need to wait for them to repeat the offer!

Not quite sure I approve of bananas in a bedroom situation, alongside the bike against the fireplace, although it is fantastic! The bike and the Fireplace! ;)

How where the tyres on mud & snow?
Bananas for scale :)

Tyres were honestly awesome. Only a few minor slips that anything would have slipped on I think. Sure I didn't have enough to really smash it down hill over rocky ground but they performed well. £100 spent OK I think.. fun day out and they'll do it again...

Now I just need to get an actual gravel bike.

@AndyCr15 one for your Jalon trip. Some kid has just beaten Pogacars segment on a local climb! How's your hill training?

EDIT - Actually i'm confused. Unsure if it's been removed as the Strava website still has Pog as the record holder. Was checking as i'm sure i had done the same climb, but i think i've only descended it.

Woohoo. The company who i tried to order the GTS bibs from and had no stock offered me 25% off any other Assos shorts. So ordered the Mille C2 GT for €108 which isn't much more than the Whoop version

Ooooh, forgot to say but Merlin and Sigma had Continental GP 5000 S TR for under £50... Merlin only black ones, but the tan (they're more orange) sidewalls on Sigma too same price (used to be a few quid more than plain black)

Topcashback also did me 6% over the weekend.
