3KG as of this morning from Xmas Eve. :D Might buy some Rapha to celebrate?

Went OTT on brothers mother in-law's roast last year :o +5KG overnight, was off again within a few days

Ate out this year and just didn't gorge like a moron so no change :)

I didn't get any cycling presents. Yet. Getting a turbo to help rehabilitation at the end of January though, so got that to dubiously look forward too.

Fortunately now having moved and sorted the garage out, I have somewhere to put it! I just need to wire it up so I can get the sufferfest/trainer road on.

I think moving back to the UK has seriously messed with Berger's head

Well he has gone back to Wigan... :D.

Any more opnions on the Zuus wheels? I know there was a few comments in the summer - someone bought some.

£439 seems decent value agasint Aliexpress/farsports etc (i.e uk based warranty/crash replacement etc) - i know they are ultimately just rebranded chinese carbon but seems decent value.

Thoughts? I have money burning a hole in my pocket from a few months back which the wife will spend if I don't!

Late addition to the present tally - a mug with a polka for jersey and "King of the mountain" written on it, complete with bicycle shaped handle. Pretty cool.

I don't see the point in Zuus wheels, you're effectively paying an extra 50% for quicker turnaround. I'd rather have an extra £150 in my pocket.

I tend to agree but on the other hand...what's the warranty like?

Still, even if it's good that's a 50% uplift for whatever improvement you're paying for.

Can't comment on these but a member from my CC knows the proprietor(s) of Stayer Cycles in London and has promoted them in the group a few times.

Not as cheap but they have a 2 year warranty and a premises you can visit with any issues. I'm not affiliated! but just think the 2 year warranty makes them quite an attractive option to consider.

How 50%?

What similar wheels can I get for sub £300. I'm in no rush at all.

Remember dollar exchange rate has murdered the farsports/aliexpress options recently. With shipping/customs gamble as well (can be another £50-£80 on top)

Any pointers to similar ones?
