Pretty pleased with myself, managed to replace my chain all by myself last night. I'm the least hands on person ever, struggle with changing a lightbulb, so to do it and it not go horribly wrong is pretty impressive for me

It's sorted my noisy and rough drivetrain out though, back to being smooth and quiet

All my cross-chaining in the early days must have really killed that chain to have needed replacing after 1500 miles

Anyone going to Aldi today to look at their cycling special buys? They've got a light/camera that's a clear rip off of a Fly6 for £40 - might be worth a look. I might have a look at their leg warmers, too.

Ordered a fly6 rip off the other day.. with any luck it'll arrive tomorrow and I can give it a go at the weekend.

He's about the only person I can think of who'd strava the ride home to his wife in labour.

The once my wife had a really bad hypo (she's diabetic) and I had to ride home urgently as she was semi unconscious.

The ride home is on Strava.

I can ride home quicker than I can drive. Side effect of working in Edgbaston.

Then add in the delay of waiting for a taxi.
