I tried to read that and ended up skipping most of it.

Think my 23mm gp4000 are sat at about 80psi at the moment. Harder training

Was out for 3 hours today then had a nap 2h30m. Getting there with being a selfish cyclist :D

Matched my time to 1 second up the transmitter/mast climb. 10:21 and then you look at the leader board. Ribble boys have been up it in 7ish minutes in the anderside  I sense a 9ish when I'm fit in the summer.

Planning some spring races. Plus the issues faced when you're an OCD planner on a lowly CAT license & 3 hours away from civilisation - https://dcun.co.uk/spring-racing-planning/
Levens is the quick one in the south Lakes isn’t it?

I might try and get into it at least once this year, I’ve done one NLTTA event last week and they are usually the organiser.

I know how you feel, I work away or long days time to time, a week or a few half weeks away really messes up any kind of training consistency!

Yeah it is near Kendal. There are a lot of 10's on it in the coming months. A good few clubs use it so there is plenty of opportunity. With it being potentially the fastest 10 course wise in the UK now though, it means entries will be mega.
My girlfriends sister lives 5 minutes drive from the start so it's actually not that crazy a notion for me to go down and ride it as it may appear.

My team is registered in Bury so classed as Manchester. There was talk of us being NW registered as we would then have priority for Levens which would definitely help!

08/06 one looks most viable to me at the moment. I will be made redundant on the last day of May so the first week of June might be good time to go and do a bit of travelling down south for a week and get some good training/TT'ing done down there.

Just learned that Wiggle now want to charge me £2.95 for returns, that wasn't in their T&C's when I purchased the item I'm about to send back, and previous returns were free.
Free returns are available with the Asda toyou service. There is a charge of £2.95 for all other returns procedures.

Eurosport running an offer too

All the cobbled climbs. All the straining sprints. Don't miss the start of the cycling season with a whopping saving of £20 and catch all the action live and on-demand with Eurosport Player.
Catch every twist, turn and fall for only £19.99* for the year. Offer ends 17 March, make sure you're part of the peleton.

So for the eurozport player for those of you who have it. Can I watch all the catch ups of races and stuff for a period after or is it a bit useless? Also what is the country access like? Ie can I use it when I'm in Asia in April and missing all the main spring classics

It's not great in my opinion. If you don't watch something on the day it airs you are at the mercy of their schedule to watch it later. It isn't truly on-demand like most streaming services. It's more like a web-based TV channel. It's full of adverts naturally. I've never tried it abroad but I suppose you could use a VPN if it doesn't work.

Won't bother then. Cheers.

In other news turbo this morning and I've managed to have to change the tube due to it bulging and hitting my frame. Thought indoor riding was supposed to be easy.

I’ve been keeping an eye out on the Rapha store mentioned in here and want a £100ish pair of bibs for my longer rides this year, I’ve read a lot about the Rapha Core but said eBay store has the Classic bib shorts 2 for £107 delivered - anyone used both and could comment on differences etc?

Fit is another question, I think L by their guide - generally a M in DHB or L in Castelli so does that sound right?

I prefer the fit of the core. The classics are much slacker and caused me issues. But the wear on the core is quicker than the classics.
Go smaller and worse comes to worse just send em back to be replaced.

last year for tdf I used their app from a PC, you had with/without advert streams(never seen that before), live pause, and catch-up streaming(no download) of previous days .. so I had the opposite experience ! but hadn't renewed since I balked on £40.
Also seemed to be fhd for that gorgeous alpine shots porn

Managed to get on for a Zwift session yesterday afternoon. Legs felt ok and breathing was mostly ok but didn't bury myself too much as still not recovered fully from this lurgy. Then found myself getting more stuffy as the afternoon drew on, then this morning I'm full of it again - proper head cold! Dammit! Hopefully it'll clear in a few days, this real lack of mileage is annoying me though as with the Tour of Zwift I'd really been able to pick things up and was seeing some real progress. :(

Just learned that Wiggle now want to charge me £2.95 for returns, that wasn't in their T&C's when I purchased the item I'm about to send back, and previous returns were free.
Yup their returns changed a month or two ago. Annoying!

You can generally watch 'On Demand' up to 4-5 days afterwards. Some of the GT's are a week, some of the other races are barely 3 days. Watch 'Live' stuff too, but it's not straight on the stream, usually available a hour or so after it finishes. It's awkward as a streaming service, really lacks on features compared to others and the content can be annoying at times (having to sit through previous snooker for 30 minutes as it overrun, then missing the end of what you wanted to watch as it just cuts off), but there's very few other options are there? Less faffing now too - my latest Sammy 4K came with a native app for it out the box, so where previously I was casting from the android app to a chromecast to play back, I now don't have to.

Enough deals on ES to make it worthwhile for things like these spring classics - which are not really shown anywhere else. Had my first year for £14, then a Christmas deal for a year at 99p (although missed to cancel and now on full price for this year as couldn't get a refund).

On wheel turbo trainers are so 2015! ;)

Rapha Core are amazing. I'm a Large in Castelli and some large Castelli are damn tight on me (Progetto X2), while others are perfect (Volo, Evoluzione). I can fit in a Large or Medium Rapha Core as they stretch well. Prefer the medium but only got 1 pair of them with 3 pairs of Large. I tried the Rapha Pro Team £195 shorts alongside the Core and much preferred the feel of the Core. You'll be similar sizing as Castelli, as Rapha is only a smidgen more relaxed.

Day 1 in Mallorca.
wake up....forgot garmin. Damn. Treated myself to a wahoo bolt - I much prefer it!
Welcome Wahooligan! :D

Cheers, I think I will go with the core and probably medium and hope for the best - looks like they are decent on returns!

Even better, they have been 100 quid the whole time I’ve been looking at them and now showing as 85 so ordered - gone medium!
