Robocop Rogue City

Gave this a try this evening.

Seems ok but does not make me want to go out and buy it.

Stuttering mess and I let the game auto detect the settings.

It's a little longer as usual when you factor in Steam decompressing and processing. Also it's not always full speed download anyway because of Steam bandwidth, so 20 mins is about a reliable estimate which was fractured into the maths

OK, so just did it in under 9 minutes from time I pressed download to launching the game. Steam was busy and did not even max my line. Was closer to 90 MB/s.

I usually get full speed from steam. But right now is probably one of the busiest hours.

Downloaded and started playing in less than 10 mins and I'm in the North West just like Raven. Didn't have time to finish the demo but I did enjoy what I played. Played until the Police Station because it was 2am. Gave the Robocop feels and exploding heads is always fun though the game did feel a bit too easy even though I was playing on hard difficulty.

Also noticed before I played that there was a message on Steam acknowledging the stuttering and that the devs are working on fixing it so that's something atleast.

Just Raven getting defensive. Nothing unusual :p

I played until a little paded police station. Reached the arcades and then uninstalled. I will defo grab in a couple of years once the price is right and devs sort out the stutter.

Nostalgia overload this! Absolutely love it, when the music kicks in with your first encounter, goosebumps! :D  Absolutely shocking game though

I hope they fix the shader compilation stutter, ruins the experience somewhat.

The devs know how to make a good story music etc. But they need to work on improving their actual game dev skills.

I enjoyed their Terminator game. This is basically the robot version of it.

It feels extremely dated - the whole thing also with robocops gun when you use the zoom it really should snap to the enemies i feel, but you just get the pointer, it doesnt auto aim.

Normally autoaim should be avoided with mouse, but robocop doesnt miss so it should be a right click snap.

im glad they put out a demo i was tempted by it but it looks like a game that came out 4 or 5 years ago, graphics are pretty poor for a modern £50 game.

Feels like a £20 game somehow :p

What annoyed me was when using the AK and zoomed in the kickback from firing was so bad that you had to zoom out to find out where the mobs where again lol

Fully agree with both, i tried the AK then just went back to the robocop gun which worked better.
exactly the same thing I did.

Didn't really need to use any other gun as on normal difficulty it took down most mobs quite easily

I found most of the guns took up a lot of space when zoomed in (Right click) so limited your FOV a lot in open areas

You will find XeSS looks and runs better than the other upscalers in this - It is what it is.
