Is Craig doing maybe in fighting commentary? After watching the teaser it is really hard to think of anyone better and he still sounds just as good at it.
 
On the website (robotwars.tv) they now have competitor profiles. While there are some interesting newcomers they are also quite a few that look a bit crap, one is even made of wood!!!

It's good to have a few crap ones. There were too many good robots in the latter series last time - it leads to less destruction.

I'm a bit concerned by the increased weight limits, and the monstrous bloating of the House Robots, but still looking forward to watching with my son (age 6)

I'm hoping the wood one faces a good spinner. :D It seems a few people have just entered their robot from the previous series, so they come under 100kg. The last series of robot wars most of the robots were 96kg+ but this one it appears that not many are getting close the to the weight limit.

They're very much in it. They're in on week 1 according to that website posted ^

I always thought their weakness was being flipped and their vulnerable wheels, but they did a lot to lower the ground clearance and protect the wheels so basically you need to smash it and push it (a la Tornado 2).

I'm sure years ago there were rumours that Razer would going to become a house robot. Maybe that was playground hype, but a larger version would do well and replace the awful ones like Cassius Chrome *shudder*
 
At least they've confirmed the date more than a week before it airs. It annoys me when they keep showing 'coming soon' adverts for an upcoming programme for what seems like an endless amount of time, then I find out the show has aired without what seems like any advertisement that it was going to air on that date.
