Just a question, if you will not open new monitors, how will you do dead pixel checks
How much would you charge for it.
We won't do pixel checks that was my point.

I genuinely think you should consider some some sort of monitor pre check for premium gaming monitors.
People are even willing to pay an extra fee for the possibility. I know backlight bleed and IPS glow, which are 2 separate things, can be somewhat subjective, but At the very least it could be done for dead or faulty pixels. Takes about 2 minutes to run a pixel check. And dead or falulty pixels are not a subjective thing.
I for one will not buy a new high end gaming monitor at the moment, even though I'm building a new gaming rig and have the cash. The ridiculously high chances of getting a faulty unit, and then having to argue with retailers just puts me off 100%. I just cannot be bothered, and I suspect loads of people on these forums and elsewhere feel very very similar.
You're losing a lot of potential money in sales and ocuk *could* be the pioneer of a great new service.
+1 ☺

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18570584I have to agree with Gibbo... dead/stuck pixels are rare on branded monitors. I can't remember the last time I saw one.
Recently I have bought 2 x Dell P2715Q, Acer S277HK, LG 34UM95 and various low end LG and Samsung display's for office use and all are fine with no dead pixels.
Maybe look in this ocUK forum below and see there are still ongoing pixel problems. ☺

You should also tell them that the replacement monitors are refurb/used units, not brand new monitors.

Sounds like you've all condemned the ROG's to having dead/stuck pixels before they have even hit the 'shelves', I'm amazed.
