Something like "why the long face.Update on Daily Mail... getting awkward.
‘There were two officers, I think and Wayne looked really worried. He turned and said to me “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, you’ll be OK, I’m getting out of here”.
Ibra is very unique though. The guy is such a professional, hard worker and a family man. Look at the way he has already recovered from injury. Hes a beast. Rooney is also a beast, but in a special way.So not just a **** athlete but **** husband and father 2. Guess it's not something we didn't know before but meh. I'm pretty shocked at some football players when it comes to just general living. You wouldn't see a proper professional living that way. Could you imagine Ibra going out and getting smashed on his week off? Not a chance.
That's half my point though. Englands all time goal score is a guy who has probably never actually looked after himself right. His career nose dives and Ibra just keeps on going. Rooney is just disappointing when compared to actual good professionals.Ibra is very unique though. The guy is such a professional, hard worker and a family man. True. I know Sir Alex hated the way players binged when he joined united and made sure he changed that. As a professional its completely unacceptable.TBH if I was Everton manager I'd be wondering how seriously Rooney is taking his move to Everton. Why don't player contracts have "no binge drinking" clauses surely it has to be detrimental to fitness? you spend all summer getting players into peak condition and 3 games in Rooney is drinking unhealthily.
Doubt he'll be bankrupt, but if the divorce happens it will hurt.I reckon he'll be bankrupt not before long. Another kiss and tell has just popped up. The guys an ****.
Given how successful we've been at International football, being our record scoring doesn't therefore make him world class either. Unless of course you think San Marino's record goalscorer is world class too.
Rooney had a very long international career, had a few highs but generally speaking never performed at the highest level. Very similar to his club career. A very good player and had a very good career but he's never been world class.
He went through certain periods where he appeared 'world class'. Namely between 2009-10 and 2011-12. That is at club level, internationally he always looked average. He should never be mentioned in the same breath as those players, but still he was great.Have to agree with that, although personally I hate the term world class as it means different things to different people, I'd say he was a very good player both domestically and at international level but he wasn't in that very top bracket of players like Ronaldo (fat and thin), Messi, Maradona and Zidane players that could carry a less gifted side to bigger things. Rooney's failure at tournaments only mirrored the teams failure he's a player who needs talent around him not a one man team and at the very highest level the England side come up short.
Agree mostly although I would say in 2004 at the Euro's he looked as good as anyone else in the tournament and I've never heard anyone put him in the same bracket as messi and Ronaldo. He went through certain periods where he appeared 'world class'. is that for Rooney to understand?
