rooney's red card incident (video clip)

Ronaldo might aswell hand in a transfer request because he is going to get tons of stick next season. Also the whole Ruud vs Ronaldo fight on the training ground now its Rooney and Ruud vs Ronaldo next season.

I still think the ref sent him off for the push rather than the socalled stamp (which clearly wasn't imo, i doubt he even knew Carvalho had fallen over let alone exactly where he was so he could stamp on him). If it turns out the red card is for the foul, then I think it's a truly appalling decision. For the push, it's very harsh, but to the letter of the law can be argued as being understandable.

I think telling a player you're going to get them sent off

Please post where you got this gem please not been able to find it on the web. Even the pundits A.Shearer thought the talk and headbutt (read rubbing of heads) was little more that friendly banter between club teammates.

Another think I though England were a much better side with rooney off Crouch played the loan striker better and had they started with that desire they would have won in the 90 minues easy. But they didnt and are coming home. Thats life they were not good enough coz if they were they wouldnt have missed any penalties and would have scored 2 or 3 in normal and extra time.

He was sent off for the alleged 'stamp'.

Poor.

Haven't seen any of the papers yet, but Garth Crooks has been saying on Grandstand that he's worried about Rooney's temperament and effectively saying that there have been signs that he might let the country down over the past two years. Here comes the backlash :(

I bet in the last 2 years he doesnt even top the yellow and red cards given for all england players at their respective clubs.

I'm also willing to be it wont be a problem at england anymore. Doesnt seem to be a problem at manU and the premiership is way more of a contact sport than international football.
