I'd be very surprised if these rumours are true. Banning Dalglish would be as good as handing in his resignation.

He had a reputation as a media savvy, nice guy who was a safe pair of hands in footballing terms. He's been the complete opposite since arriving here!

I wonder how much stuff like this actually went on at Fulham that we just didn't hear about because they were a smaller club doing well, rather than a bigger club doing badly.

No. Liverpool is somewhat of a poisoned chalice at the minute. Roy is clearly a good guy, the whole situation is a mess and he's caught up in the middle and obviously under considerable pressure.

Rumours are gathering pace that Hodgson will step down after the game tomorrow. It may simple be a case of putting 2 and 2 together following the Purslow news but lets hope not.

One senior player is said to have made it clear that he no longer wants to play under Roy Hodgson.

Another is said to have started to consider his future amidst claims he is completely disillusioned with new coaching methods.

I could actually believe those sorts of rumours, I do find myself wondering if some of the players feel inspired by Hodgson or not.

Tim Sherwood would disagree - his Blackburn days came to an end under similar circumstances.

Really? You've asked every player that's played under Roy that?

And lets get a little bit of perspective here; it's a rumour that 1 or 2 players are unhappy with Roy's methods.

Key players would indicate one or more of Carragher, Gerrard, Reina and Torres but I don't know if Carragher or Gerrard would dare to question him after Rafa.

Pretty obvious Torres is one of them but the likes of Agger and Jovanovic have both voiced concerns in recent weeks and I'd put money on Agger being the one to refuse to play for him after being dropped then having his home country publically mocked.
