We support the club, not the manager. But the manager will get support by default if we feel he’s fighting for the good of the club, that he’s giving his all.

There’s never once been that feeling about Roy Hodgson. From day one he seems to have been more focused on blowing his own trumpet and blaming others than on fighting for the club the supporters hold so dear.
That last sentence sums him up perfectly.

My choice of the possibles would be Rijkaard or Deschamps. Someone young enough that they can begin an era in charge, rather than just being there for 2 or 3 years.

You cannot make this up.
The panel of 'experts' on sky are saying that the problem is that, in Rafas last season, he split Gerrard and Torres up to 'play Gerrard in the middle of the park' when they dont believe he's at his best as a midfielder (After how many years of them yelling "PLAY STEVIE IN THE MIDDLE!!!11!!" ). And now Roy has to use him there because he's "Out of practice" playing as a support striker.

Cannot. Make. It. Up

They also said the names being branded around as potential replacements for Roy are not those Liverpool fans want to hear .. Rijkaard or Deschamps et al. And Most liverpool fans would prefer someone who better understands English Football, like Mclaren .. honestly.

I'm a football fan and he is manager of my teams rivals, why wouldn't I be interested in the discussion?

On the other hand, if I wanted to know what all the journalists were saying on Twitter, I would make an account and follow them :)

Seen my ex-workmates at the match today for first time in months- have not been the match for god knows how long or really been in touch other than the odd text

So it goes, the spokesperson for the Americans has given a good bit of gossip to 'trusted' press sources which has done the rounds the last 24 hours. Roy is gone, just there till a successor can be found.

They don't want Dalglish, which is a shame as he would be the perfect lift for the next two games v ManU and Everton. They want a young pup who will be there for the duration of their 'project' but Deschamps is still favourite at the min....

It will be a shame if it's not Kenny, I'd love to see the (other) best fans in England go through the same as Newcastle.

Just watching MOTD here. Tell you what, nowt Hodgson can do about complete planks like Glen Johnson being terrible footballers.

think Johnson still thought it was xmas day...gave more passes away than I care to remember.

Think him and Babel are both off after Babel's live firework broadcast via Twitter at 1am yesterday....

Interesting question:

- Who would you take instead of Roy (realistically, no "OMG MOURINHO")?
- Would you take Rafa back if he wanted the job?

:)
