Wasn't sure.

Wonder if he will get the chance to bring in some players? or will it be a case of make do until they find a long term replacement.
 
I'd be stunned if he had any real involvement in the selection tomorrow. He only arrived back in the country this evening and will have very little idea as to what's gone on over the past few days. If Hodgson has had the team preparing to play a certain system over the last few days, it will be very difficult for Dalglish to come in a make any major changes to that in the couple of hours he'll spend with the team tomorrow morning.

Well that's bad news then, if we are still playing Hodgsons team and Hodgsons system then we will lose. Probably be playing with meireles on the wing and konchesky at left back and lobbing the ball over the top constantly.

Gerrard in the hole, kuyt out right and meireles playing in a proper position if Jenny choose the tram I'd think.

So glad we've got someone who knows how to play football in charge of us now. The constant long balls and pathetic defensive displays under Hodgson were an embarrassment to the club and Dalglish appears to have rectified both of those problems within 24 hours by getting the players to play to feet and employing a higher defensive line.

If the players continue to keep it on the deck and look to pass to feet I'm confident we'll see as much of an improvement in our attack as we have done in our defence.
 
Might have jumped the gun regarding the Clarke rumours. Dalglish has said he knows nothing about any backroom changes (yet) and a few people are reporting that it's not as likely as some have made out.
 
It's not been totally ruled out but from what people were saying earlier in the day, it was a done deal but now it doesn't seem as nailed on.
