Good for you. Most of the vocal members against nvidias pricing and vram schemes.... Wanna guess what they bought and what they keep buying?
Intel cards?

Didnt you but 5x 3090s? FIVE? And you are criticizing me? Lolokay
Exactly all the cuda cores and vram pooled they really do make great work cards and still nothing touches them for that apart from A-SERIES which is a lot more expensive cards for really the same performance for my use.All the CUDA cores ALL OF THEM!!!!!!
What difference does it make? You thought its actually worth 1500 pounds or whatever you paid for it. And I believe you that it was. So why do you expect nvidia to drop it's price? I really don't get itAs you know and explained yes for work, the original plan was to have 2 workstations with 2x 3090 in each in NVLINK, but the problem was for the second workstation was the motherboard needed (another MSI X570 GODLIKE, only board that allowed 4 space NVLINK on x570 at the time) went out of stock and when it was even available was over £1000 and when not available people were selling them for £1500+ used. so the second workstation was canned and sold two of the cards to family and a friend. Kept 3 as 1 was always going to be a spare in case I needed an RMA.
So your point being ?
Again for work not gaming..
Because 4090's are gaming cards now 100%.. no NVLINK ... Also I explained to you before they were well priced only compared to Titan and A-Series...for work.. for gaming not so..What difference does it make? OK so we established, that at least for work, a 3090 was worth 1500+. So now let's get back to nvidia, what should they do, price them lower to make them worth for gaming as well while they are basically offering it for free for pros, make it not able to play any games at all, or what?Because 4090's are gaming cards now 100%.. no NVLINK ... Also I explained to you before they were well priced only compared to Titan and A-Series...for work.. for gaming not so..
As you see here :-
NVIDIA 4000 Series
Just a reminder, not that it should be needed but: Trolling and/or deliberately derailing threads will lead to a graphics card strike, as laid out here.forums.overclockers.co.uk
Check this guys setup on a x570 godlike and where they ended up all these motherboards and 3090s .. His work didn't need NVLINK so he could use up to 4 cards in that setup.

I'm wondering where they could go with DLSS from here. Maybe it generates the frame for your other eye in VR. Combined with previous versions of DLSS only a quarter of the frames are actually rendered by the traditional GPU and only an eighth of the total pixels.Yeah. Who knows. Might end up with a used 4090. But I doubt it. Might miss out of DLSS 4 then Plus the more power efficient card.
Sweeping generalisation much! If I'm not buying Nvidia and complaining about their prices does that mean I'm not a person. All I've got to say is, people constantly complain about nvidias prices, but they keep buying nvidia. At some point we got to admit, since you are buying it (yes, the same people that complain are the ones buying nvidia) then maybe, maybe, MAYBE it's actually worth that much.

Nvidia Geforce RTX 4070 official performance leaks
RTX 4070 Founders Edition pictured Just a few days before the official launch, scheduled for April 13th, the first Nvidia official performance numbers for the GeForce RTX 4070 have leaked online, showing it to be on par with the RTX 3080, at least with DLSS 3. It also appears that Nvidia will...www.fudzilla.com
Well, there will always people would STILL buy the 4070ti 12GB over the 7900XT 20GB no matter what simply because they would only buy Nvidia, despite the 7900XT is around average 12-15% faster in games that don't use RT, and would match the 4070ti in performance in RT games (due to them being faster in raw performance) but without the funky stuttering and texture not loading in properly issue caused by running out of vram when with RT enabled.People buy it because there really isn't any alternative.
We are being pushed to buy stuff that we know is appallingly bad value for money.
If AMD would get their act together then the situation would be a lot better but until they do that then we are stuffed.
amd and nvidia are both price fixing, even if intel had a comparable card they would just get on that gravy train too, competition doesnt exist here, just price fixingPeople buy it because there really isn't any alternative.

And more than double in RT, which is the main reason you buy a 4090.I think the price of the RX 7900 XT makes the RTX 4090 FE look ridiculous, it's literally double the price for around 45% more performance at 4K.
