It appears that the rumors were true. So far each and every custom GTX 1070 Ti model we heard about comes with the same clock speed of 1607 and 1683 MHz (base and boost respectively).
Two AICs we spoke with also confirm 2432 CUDA core count for GTX 1070 Ti.
Below you can find first pictures of GTX 1070 Ti EX by KFA2 and its packaging, which clearly confirm the new model.
The packaging also confirms 6+8-pin power connectors and 8GB GDDR5 (not GDDR5X) memory configuration.
Nvidia is going to have to absolutely nail the pricing on this, the 1070 and the 1080 for this to make sense.

To be fair, the 1060 basically performed like a 980 (when it should have performed like a 970). The entire lineup was pushed up a gear as a resultI have to say the graphics card arena is boring at the moment. AMD can't compete so Nvidia are releasing a card nearly two and a half years after the 980 Ti offering a small performance advantage for 70% of the price. That really isn't good progress.

Titan XV or GTFO.
True. Minimum 4Titans, I would never get one.

And hopefully influence a Vega price drop as well.
More likely AMD wont manufacture more Vega if that's the case. Already losing money on making it.
