^ yeah i jumped the gun on the hacker thing...i realized the server was allowing air drops with 1 person on the server

Been playing on some random server we have a big house in the middle of nowhere and still come back in nearly every day with one wall and one metal door gone and all the loot disappeared just seems so shady.
Me and a few others only got around 10 hours into it so wondering if its just worth getting a 12 quid multi-play server making it private and doing it that way

if the server has edited its airdrop rate then people have stupid amounts of C4
Airdrops are by no means the only source of C4.. or maybe people still think the only use for low grade fuel is in the furnace 
btw Arnie - while you can C4 a door frame, there seems to be a recent bug where destroying a door will cause the frame to disappear too. It didn't used to be like that.

I know you can craft them or find explosives in crates(pretty rare) but its stupid having airdrops set so low.
I read about the bugs aswell...pretty stupid tbh...was buying my own server anyway.
could do with a few admins....if any high poster is up for it

If you try a few times, it should work. Unless you have another issue.
right now.
you can build a base.
craft guns and ammo , body armor etc (the good stuff you will need to find blueprints for)
Hunt animals to kill for food/leather/cloth
attack peoples houses/bases and destroy doors/walls etc
the map is pretty massive but mostly just trees , hills and mountains with not many radiated towns and buildings.
the pvp is what you would expect from an FPS and feels pretty solid
It's a bit like minecraft done in halflife 2 without being able to alter the terrain

the ocuk server is mostly friendly so far and the game can be quite a lot of fun and feels more polished than you would imagine.
I'm running around with 90-144fps on a 280x

Think a metal wall is around 5 C4, metal door is around 2 C4 - depending on decay.

I take back what I said earlier, this OCUK server is the harshest I've been on yet!
My wood home was being raided with ladders, my brother and I spotted Gammawolf nearby so we shot him and he had loads of ladders. He denies it and it was a bit harsh shooting him so we gave him all his stuff back. My house then gets another stair attack so time to move on and I begin on metal house.
House is finished and I move out, next thing I know old house is all C4'd. Phew I thought... Players add me privately on steam saying nekra C4'd my old house and Gammawolf lead them there to do it as he had a beef. Next I know Gammawolf is outside my new house so I shot him again thinking he's scoping me out for another raid. He curses me saying he's going to blow up my new house with loads of C4 etc.
Next I know 5 guys roll in when I'm offline kill my brother, house is looted and griefed with blocking up entrances etc with metal walls... really harsh guys, took ages to gather up that metal.
I don't mind that we were raided any of the times old house or new as it's a great part of the game, but the griefing really sucks and is uncalled for.
No doubt others will come on saying otherwise but I swear on my two young kids life this is how it went down... I know it's just a game but time invested building a big metal house is crazy.
Anyway good luck to the genuine not griefing players on there, you will need it!

I left the ocuk server because it was to friendly/boring and I doubt you guys want a pvper on there
A large part of the game is pvp and the survival from other players but I didn't think you guys would have appreciated me playing the game how you are supposed to.

I think the server is just a little undeveloped - the competition for resources and supplies hasn't been worth the C4 and bullets up to this point because it's so easy to gather and loot for yourself.
We seem to have picked up a fair few more players in the past few days and it seems the PVP element is creeping in a little now and raids are becoming more common. It'll be interesting to see what happens, but understandably people who aren't that into the PVP aspect are becoming a little frustrated.
I'm still friendly with everyone and have managed not to be raided in the last week, so go me.

People don't like PvP if they lose. If they're winning, you'll find there to be no problems!
