This is the only thing kind of putting me off a bit. The thought that hours of in-game hunting and building etc could just be lost when there is a server wipe.

But I guess it is an Alpha game after all, although it would be nice to have some kind of global storage so that you can take some items with you to different servers.

It certainly teaches you to let go of all emotional attachments to items and hours of hard work :p

Madeddie - since the bad lag last night people are reporting server issues e.g. assets not in your immediate vicinity appear invisible, resource, animals etc.

Can you please check it out? maybe restart needed?

cheers bud

Yeah got killed by a granola chomping invisible zombie, dropped a crap load of stuff as i didn't realize what was going on. Then went back to look for what i dropped and nothing was appearing at all. Ending up logging off as it wasn't even playable.

No, I went to the village and it was completely gone, I relogged and then saw 2 houses only, instead of the dozen that should be there.

I tried and official server and it was fine, but another community server seemed to have no assets either.

I hope a wipe is not coming not sure if I cant start all over again :(

dont tell me you wouldn't shoot someone found loitering near your house and ask questions later ;)

Doing that serves no purpose and is counter logical. It's an action based purely on fear. If you think about it for one moment - they could have one of two intents: friendly or unfriendly. If they were friendly then you just serve to **** them off by killing them for no reason. If they're unfriendly then their intent is already set, in which case nothing you can do will stop them. In a game where you can see exactly who's online at any given time theres no need to even visit their house while the player is on the server. So given that this is the case, shoot first ask questions later has a higher probability of bringing back negative effects than simply not shooting first.

how do you see whos online?
hem. In a game where you can see exactly who's online at any given time theres no need to even visit their house while the player is on the server.
changing your steam name changes your ingame name too so I could rob you guys , change back to arknor and be your friend again lol....

^ Much easier to get others to do your dirty work instead isn't it? While appearing to remain neutral and playing the victim card. ;) It's a tactic anyway.

Where have you been the last 2 days anyway? :p

Haha, now that Christmas is over i don't have the time to play seriously, all i can contribute would be to gather resources for a village. Otherwise its rather pointless because I wouldn't be able to recoup from raids without putting in hours that i don't have.

My stuff should start rotting in a couple days so by the end of the week it'll be like i wasn't even there :p, feel free to take it if you'd like
