For all of Vegas problems if the price was right i.e below it’s better performing competition then it might sell a few units but by pricing it higher than even the next competition tier up is madness for gamers but I suspect that’s no longer the target market!

Basic supply and demand though. If miners want them to make money then ocuk would be a fool to sell them cheaply. Why shouldn’t they cash in on the mining craze when everyone else is.

One things for sure these aren’t gaming cards!

£630 now. I at least hope these increases partly go to the manufacturers so they can invest into production and not entirely into the pocket of vendors.

People keep referencing the release price, but forget to mention that it was subsidised by AMD, for a limited number of cards.

Unfortunately Vega has just been disaster, from most people's point of view.

It's nothing to do with the manufacturers MSRP, that would be set in stone as per AMD's pricing, any increase in price we are seeing here now, is purely down to OCUK being the only place to have stock and capitalising on that fact by charging a premium. It's nothing but pure price gouging.

If people keeping buying, they will keep upping the price while stock supply is low.

If they cared about cashing in on the mining craze then they wouldn't limit one per customer or whatever it is, you could just phone up and take all their stock in a heartbeat.
