Ryzen "2" ?

Yeah my 1700 @ 3.9 beats that cinebench score (~1730), so a 2700X at 4.2+ should demolish it.

Gibbo already said that OCUK would be lower than those leaked prices.

Well, that's pre-order (not leak). I have one sat in my basket from the aforementioned popular retailer. Unlikely to be pulling that particular trigger till I get a look at other prices but... still.
MAYBE I will get this all landed for <£700. There will be MUCH rejoicing if so (£200 for 16GB 3200 cl14 at the start of the year to be ready).

They've been up on that particular retailer for a week or so, just hidden, they've stayed at that price since then. In the US they are $329 (from the same shop) which is ~£280 inc VAT. I can see them being ~£300 launch price.

Looked at my bank statement this morning. I think i can still get away with Lowering springs and remaop for 350z and have spare coin for 2700 cpu.
question is are 2700x binned better than 2700 hmmm
could sell 1700x + cooler at 120 quid i guess

I would rather save the extra £10/£15 instead and i doubt people asked for them but then what do i know :p

Loads of people wanted the Wraith MAX cooler, so much so that AMD released it as a stand alone product (at a very high price because they had agreements not to step on the toes of other cooler manufacturers).

So the inclusion of the Wraith Prism this time around is a direct response to that interest, and the good press around the quality of the other stock coolers.

£25 above SRP for the R7 2700X? Typical OcUK launch pricing I guess. Wonder how long it'll take for them to settle down.

I remember Gibbo saying that the only reason prices we so high here was because of the weak pound. Of course now it's stronger, they're still high...funny that. :p

What is the point in the 2600X over the 1600X? other than a bit more single core boost I cant see anything and is it me or are they much more expensive this time around? Sure I paid a lot less for my 1600X on release

I see from the listings that memory is supported "up to 3600Mhz". Are those officially supported speeds?

Edit: I see from information now coming out 2933 is the officially supported speed, which is still an improvement.
