Ryzen "2" ?

Others with the same mobo have the ram higher than DOCP.
ye but Yours motherboard is **** init ?? I was sure You ordered different one by now....
Others also can run Hynix ram pass 3333. I know that kit can do 3600cl14 on GOOD motherboard.

If it was B-die it would be rated at 14-14-14 3200 @1.35v. In the link you posted it was rated at 16-18-18-36, It's not B-die simple as.
That's not a complete certainty. I have seen a couple of reports of people getting B-die in CL16 3200MHz kits. No proof to hand as it was ages ago, and you certainly wouldn't buy a CL16 kit expecting B-die, but it's not totally impossible. There are also definetly CL15 3200MHz B-die kits that you can reliably assume will be B-die. For instance:

DESCENT b-die kit with Good motherboard and Good 2700x

3733cl16 STABLE but its slow due to seconday timings ect its 2.5 second slower on ibt very high/pass compared to my 3533cl14 daily

It is b-die i checked with Thaiphoon Burner, Die density / Count samsung b-die (20nm) 1 die

Weird that, since it's the Samsung S-Die that is rated to those timings, and what a lot of the Team Group kits have on them. I am pretty sure that last kit I had, albeit the T-Force variant was S-die, but that was for an Intel build not Ryzen so couldn't comment on the compatibility.

And this is how GOOD b die memory is and its on 1700x with 4100mhz !!!!
@kitfit1 check those out its Gskill 4266cl19 at only 1.42 volts where I need to pump 1.46 to have my 3533 without errors :(

thats difference Good vs Descent B-die

Mine is the vulcan t-force, i dont get home till midnight tonight but i will post the thaiphoon screen here. Either way it doesn't work at 3200mhz so doesn't matter .

Those kind of speeds above are pretty rare though and often take hours and hours of tweaking to achieve.
Ask how many hours did @opethdisciple spent lol :(
By now on hes place i would take that motherboard and threw it out of window. or sell it on ebay wfor 30 quid just to not look at it.

Afaik it took him just a week to get those timings right and remember its on 1700x not 2700x !!!

No, not hours and hours.............................days lol. Must admiit, i'm not too far away from that at the moment but still get intermittent errors at varying stages. It's always down to a very small adjustment though. It's just so much fun playing with ram...............havn't had this much fun since the NF2 days :D

Looks good zeed......................may have a surprise though next week. Got the phase up and running and she went straight to -50c so looking good. Got to strip the mobo down and get it insulated at the weekend........................when the mobo goes cold the ram will as well.............so looking for it to go to 3600 straight away.
For anyone that might be interested, this is the phase in question:
http://www.benchtec.co.uk/forums/threads/6354-My-first-SS-build.

It's old now, but was built to hold a 990x at 5Ghz+ and did it without any problem. I'm hoping it can do the same with a 2700x.

Got my Corsair Dominator Platinum 3200Mhz Hynix running with my 2700X as high as i could get it running with my 6700K which is 3000Mhz 15-17-17-35-1T. Cost me £100 in 2016, its £219 right now on OcUK.

Is the RAM cheap or was I cheap in 2016?

LoL

The problem is Ryzen, its still new.. get over it.

Indeed, you could buy 16GB DDR4 3200 MHz Corsair LPX for £47 in June 2016, it's going to be a while before they drop that low again.

The board is good though with decent VRM and features. It only cost me £110 from b-grade.

The problem is that the ram compatibility has got worse over time. since 3200 worked fine on an earlier bios with my 1700.

I'm just going to run 3066 for now and hope they fix it. Tempted by the Crosshair vi in the MM but I might just have the same problem.

At least with the Crosshair, the 'Stilts' safe and or fast timings are built into the bios (3502). I am running Gskill Ripjaws V 3200C14 at 3333Mhz 14-14-14-30-52-1T which is stable in Memtest. 1700 at 3.7, stock cooling
