Info on the Ryzen 5 2600H and Ryzen 7 2800H mobile processors have just come up on the AMD site.

Interesting that there is a 2800H. That means that 2800 R7 is a "thing" so I guess we could see an X version.
We are going to get so much bandwidth around that most will not know what to do with it!

Ryzen 3 is at least half a year away, probably closer to 9 months. Whether we see a 2800X I don't know; AMD might release it as an instant reaction to Intel's 9000 series but given the leaked price information I don't see why they'd bother. They also don't exactly have much clock headroom available so even from a technological standpoint I'm not sure if a 2800X is even viable.Am i an idiot to upgrade to a 2700x now? are we expecting Ryzen3 or an 2800x soon? :/

I can certainly can see a 2800x coming out on the back of the 9900kIf history is anything to go by the new Ryzen chips will be releasing around April 2019.
What might be coming soon tho is a 2800x.
Lol. Ah well. It will do.Wrong thread, dude

I would assume 8c/16t higher clocks than 2700xHow would that work though? What sort of core count would you think? Seems a little wasteful to disable 1/3 of a CCX just to get a 10 or 12 core CPU, and you're potentially cannibalising Threadripper sales if you push to 16 cores. 10+ cores in a Ryzen package might get a little warm too.

What the Dickens? I never said anything on the subject and you made yourself look thick many ways but that wasn't one that I said.

Edit. What the Dickens am I doing in the Ryzen 2 thread lol.
Genuinely did laugh out loud I need to get out more....LOL I'm laughing with you btw.
I would definitely wait. They are moving to 7nm so there should be a huge jump in performance!Am i an idiot to upgrade to a 2700x now? are we expecting Ryzen3 or an 2800x soon? :/
