I'm struggling to get my 2700x stable over 3200Mhz CL14.

What are people seeing results wise and settling on stable?

Have you tried the timing calc program?

Nope?

I left the timings loose, 16-16 something whatever the defaults are for my ram at 36, anything over 3200 fails occt pretty much straight away.

I'm currently testing it with lower 3200 timings, 13-13-13 something and it's 30mins into occt.

If this is stable will probably settle on that then see what the CPU can do.

With the help of a friend, I've managed to get 3200mhz with really sloppy auto timings and runs a quick cenebench okay.

I'm going to clean up my build and reinstall Windows with default stocks and play with timings again.

Running 2700X, CH7, 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB 3466mhz c16 in 4x8GB config. CPU is set to auto on everything for now and reaches 4.38GHz on various cores hitting 1.5v at that point.

Yeah tried a load of them, 3200 with these low timings seems fine though so may leave it there.

You have the same set up as me and and even though I have it at 3333c14 it’s very little over 3200c14 in testing. I’ve not done much stress testing past CineBench/Realbench but it’s stable in games so that’s all I need.

If you have tight timings at 3200 then anything after that is minimal gains. :)

However, the timing calc program is here, helped me to get 3333.

Save your settings before hand so that you can revert if it all goes pear shaped!
I played a game and got lag spikes so reverted back to 3200 with 14-14 Vs the fast timings for 3200 of stilts.

Need to put some time aside, seems to run **** in league and a toaster could run that.

in another thread on here someone just posted about dodgyness on techradar also.

single bench CB score of 200+ on intel review, then suddenly the intel score as if by magic lowers to 160 on the ryzen 2 review.
