RYZEN 5000 SERIES NOW ONLINE - 5950X, 5900X, 5800X & 5600X COMING NOV 5TH AT 5PM **NO COMPETITORS**

I got a x570 Tomahawk a week or so ago from OCUK. Said 10+ in stock, just checked, still says 10+. Thats probably one of the most popular boards around Id guess.

I also got myself a Gigabyte Aorus Master and an Aorus Pro (family build), I got them early anticipating stock issues. May have been unnecessary but the way things have been recently I didn't want to risk it. Just means I have slightly shortened my usable warranty.

Same, I bought into the hype threads, users here saying the boards etc will go out of stock . Rather have it, than be limited by choice at release. One less thing to be trying to add when the sites may be struggling if its anything like the 3080 launch.

I got a B550 Tomahawk, as they says, it is a good mobo, good VRM etc, it can handle the 16 cores CPU as well. After I will see, when the CVIIIDH will be available, I probably swop.

I think you’re missing the point that the 5950X is already considerably more expensive than the 3950X was at launch. It’s not only the lower end models that have had a price hike. This was before OCUK chucked another £50 on top of the 5950X model. They’re pushing their luck (AMD and the resellers).

LOL knew it.. It starts even before they are out the price hikes. I told people go grab the 3950X while it was on sale for £650 with free games .. Also reading some so called leaks it's no faster than 10% on most things. But let's get real reviews first.

All the 3000 series have shot up too and same with intel have gone up over £80 for intel and 3000 series cpus are almost back up to original retail at most places too.

People never learn it's not going to be OCUK hiking prices only, it's started other places too even before it's available.. The promises it will sell for RRP never happen maybe they sell one to stick to the law of their offer, they have to sell one at RRP... if they state something.

These prices won't even come down for black Friday I'm sure of it or they will knock of £10 or a bit more with a bundle at this rate.

Finally Intel is getting what it deserves too that were the monopoly on CPUs and soon Nvidia... Then we hope AMD behave but again they are a company trying to make profits and have shareholders too and AMD in past has not been very customer friendly too with their radeon 5000 series gpus on their forums and hiding a lot of issues and banning anyone giving facts of the problems to hide the real issues at the time. Remember these companies don't care about the consumer, same with retailers. Buy at the right time and sometimes buying last gen is way better value for a minor hit that most people would never notice and other parts of their systems maybe bottlenecking their performance more.

Remember when AMD introduced their 5000 series cpus and intel shares went up that day ? Strange right ? Well panic investing to inflate prices before intel shares crash..

Yesterday news..and it's all down hill for intel and if their 10nm CPUs don't impress well good luck intel.
