Is there a consensus on the DDR5 sweet spot for the 7800X3D in a new gaming build? Have to admit that all my RAM knowledge is soooo last gen.

I'm not an expert but CL30 @ 6000 if often quoted as "the best"

Ryzen 7th gen is currently very fragile with anything over 6400mhz. It will probably support more in the next few months as more modules with higher clock speed emerges.
