7E12v13Are you using bios 7D75v174?
7E12v13
Yeah I'm waiting for it mateA new one dropped on Friday but I don’t think it’s available yet for the x670 Tomahawk.
Installed the new bios, expo on the ram and -20 all cores. 3hrs of y cruncher and 3hrs of ram test with no errors. Think I'm going to just run expo timings for now and lower the voltages and see how it goes. Gonna run y cruncher all night at -25
Yes, hardcapped on chip.Is the 7800x3d capped at 5050MHz?
yes it was just a quick test before i tried some games.Yes, hardcapped on chip.
And 3 hours is not stable . I've had errors show at 6hrs and 10hours before.
And for core optimer dont forget to run an idle test aswell, so Y-cruch overnight and then leave idle overnight.
I think most board partners have released BIOS updates for it now, perhaps with the exception of some MSI boards.@LtMatt is this AGESA update for AM5 widely available yet? just wondered if its worth switching to A die yet.
I'm changing to a full ATX case soon for a full custom loop so need to change my msi itx mobo, are any mobos recommended?
Has anyone tested 7200+ on warzone that you know of? I dont imagine its going to make a significant difference but something to play with.
Have you noticed any change in curve optimiser when using the updated bios?I think most board partners have released BIOS updates for it now, perhaps with the exception of some MSI boards.
With my 64GB dual rank kit, 6200C26 is best for me as my kit will only do around 6800MhzC30. However if you can hit higher speeds, it might be beneficial. I'd also recommend testing various FCLK speeds (to see which gives lower latency) as higher may not always be better when you hit these higher memory frequencies.
No I'm still using the same settings.Have you noticed any change in curve optimiser when using the updated bios?
You not think of LtMatt optimisation services as a sideline? No I'm still using the same settings.
