Put up a video with an overlay and complete a few Diner laps like I did? So far I seem to the only one providing a video in Cyberpunk 2077.So thats pretty much maxed out 7950x. I think ht on helps in that area, but not sure when you got 16 cores.
My 12900k stock with 6000c30 is faster than the 7950x maxed though. Ald is still a beast
There's very little difference from what I can see based on what has been provided so far. These appear to be worst case examples for Ryzen CPUs, but with some tuning and disabling SMT you can get similar performance. So it ain't gonna ruin playing experience unless u ocd on FPS counters? Wheres the dips of FPS that site was showing?
But damn that CPU power draw is high really nice CPU temps though

Yes, the lower the resolution the higher the CPU utilisation and power draw goes. It's cold here this morning so temps are a few c lower than they would normally be, but I was sub 50c for 160W or thereabouts during this test.
Did you see the 7600 or the 3d numbers? So it ain't gonna ruin playing experience unless u ocd on FPS counters? Wheres the dips of FPS that site was showing?

That site uses the slowest memory speeds and SMT. Ryzen benefits from faster memory (6000C30 is the sweet spot for Zen4) and in these two specific titles, it also benefits from SMT disabled. That site does not disable SMT, which is fair enough I guess but explains the performance difference. The 7600X may struggle regardless in this Cyberpunk example as it only has 6 cores so probably needs SMT or would fall further behind. But the other CPUs with more cores would probably benefit from SMT being disabled. These two games are definitely edge cases.Nice you did the test , that site they keep posting with it dropping much lower what was that all about?
Im using a 13900k now, i can put a video when im home. If you are really interested i can maybe swap my 12900k in and make a video with that as well, but it has to wait for the weekend. Off the top of my head 13900k is around 10 to 15% faster than the 12900k at that area, but the 12900k consumed 100 watts instead of the 150 of the 13900k.Put up a video with an overlay and complete a few Diner laps like I did? I'm not that interested to be fair, I would never play the game in this scenario. However you can put up a video from your 13900K running 720P DLSS Ultra Performance just so I'm not the only one providing Cyberpunk videos.Im using a 13900k now, i can put a video when im home. The site was using stock cpus with jedec ram, ltmatt is using a maxed out 7950x with tuned ddr5. I dont know why you people can't admit whats in front of you.
The difference between zen 4 and ald is big, rpl is playing a different sport altogether
Excuse if this sounds clueless but wouldn't the 7900x3d only have 6 x3D cores, whereas the 7800 and 7950 will have 8?
With the 4090 you dont need 720 dlss up to hit a cpu limit though even 4k balanced will do itI'm not that interested to be fair, I would never play the game in this scenario. I disagree with it being an edge case. I know certain people on here hang out at Toms Diner in Cyberpunk all day and all night just waiting for the CPU that can finally handle it. Some people sky dive or swim with crocs…….not these people, simply standing outside Toms diner all day brings that rush of excitement and fulfilment. Play other games? And miss out on a full day and night cycle outside Toms Diner? Pffff. Go outside? I am outside………Outside of Toms Diner. That site uses the slowest memory speeds and SMT. Yeah cause it makes more sense to compare cpus in valorant and csgo that everything can hit 600 to 900 fps right?I disagree with it being an edge case. What about Horizon Zero Dawn? That is favourable towards AMD. Perhaps we should only judge on that.Yeah cause it makes more sense to compare cpus in valorant and csgo that everything can hit 600 to 900 fps right?
No it doesn’t, but for the love of God we get it Intel is better in Spider-Man and Cyberpunk. This is supposed to be about the upcoming 3d CPU’s, all you lot do is derail threads with the same crap constantly. There should be a thread specifically for this.Yeah cause it makes more sense to compare cpus in valorant and csgo that everything can hit 600 to 900 fps right?

Metro exodus and horizon zero dawn would be excellent examples of zen 4s gaming prowess. If zen 3 didn't also beat the crap out of intel as well in these 2 games. That would be like cometlake beating zen 4. Cyberpunk is not such a case
