Happy to make a set for you. PM me your address and I'll send a set over as soon as I've bought some more carbon-fibre nylon (I've run out).
Very kind, may take you up on it

Will you put some felt tape on the inside to stop it marring the trim? I've had phone mounts like that which did a bit of damage and only found out when I took it off. You do need to add some clearance for that of course.Oh, and the cup holder survived the drive to work along a very, very bumpy and badly surfaced road.
I'm the same, I bought an Ultimaker (cheap 2nd hand virtually unused since it had clogged the first time they used it and they just sold it) when they first came out just to do a wireless car cradle to fit in the centre console of a Mazda CX-5 and taught myself solidworks at the time, then moved to Onshape/Fusion 360.. I'm an Engineering director, but from a software background, not mechanical..No, I don't do this for a living. All self taught and it's just a hobby. I'm actually a technical services director for a college!
I wondered if you would ever get one! Well done that looks a perfect spec and good colour combo, I don't mind the lighter silver either, they still look so modern even by todays standards.Quick ones before leaving work

Since then I've done all manner of mods on cars with it and even do custom personalised leaving gifts for my Wife to hand out to the kids in school at the end of year..
I use a Sony DSX-GS80. The main reason for this is that it's a 4x100W amp rather than the usual 4x50W. This gives it tons of headroom for driving speakers. Was going to ask about car audio soon.
What head units are you all using? I just want a basic one with Bluetooth support. In the MX5 I went for one that visually fit the era, and had just that sort of functionality. May just buy the same one again

The full setup is as follows:
Sony DSX-GS80 headunit
Carpuride W901 Pro CarPlay display
InCarTec adaptor for the dash controls
Focal Auditor 6.5" front components
Focal Auditor 5.25" rear 2-ways
JBL GTO150 amp
JL 0W10V3 sub in a custom box in the tool well
It sounds great without being stupidly expensive and has all the features I want.
Yup. Although I used the Modifry phone mount as a bracket to give it something solid to hang off.Proper set up then!
I'd likely go headset and maybe speakers, they don't sound great stock.
How is that display mounted? Another fun 3d printed solution?
Since Solidworks is expensive, I can recommend Onshape, it's a web based online system from the founders of Solidworks.I need to get on to Solid works. Think it would help in my day to day too. We mostly program at the control but I have some cad/cam experience self taught but rare need to use it for what we produce.
But to get and learn it as a hobby could be a great way in
I'm lucky in that I work closely with Revopoint as one of their brand ambassadors so I have access to a lot of scanners.

ah lucky! I've tried a couple iphone apps but none of it is really good enough.I'm lucky in that I work closely with Revopoint as one of their brand ambassadors so I have access to a lot of scanners.
I used the Revopoint Miraco for the scan as it's standalone and easy to use. No laptop or messing around with cables in the car.
I'm inclined to go this route tbh. It's not like I can say it has Full Honda History if I come to sell it, because it doesn't. First few were, then just a hand ful of indiesI wouldn't worry about having Honda service it. The S2000 is very easy to work on and required no specialist tooling.
If it's repair work then I take it to TGM in Fleet. For general servicing I use my local indy who's looked after me for years.
I was thinking of some interior bits with red stitching like the gear stick leather and handbrake.Just ordered a retrimmed steering wheel from RocketWires. I've gone with half smooth, half perforated leather with red stitching.
RocketWires do a matching gear gator and armrest with your choice of colour stitching.
I replaced my gear knob with a Civic Type-R brushed steel ball.
Today's mods:
Renegade brass shifter bushing and re-grease of the gear ball
Fitted the BYS lowered seat rails. These make quite a difference. I feel much lower in the car now even though it's only supposedly a 25mm drop. Feels just like my last S2000 now that already had them. I recommend if you are tall (5'11" or taller).
