Samsung Galaxy Note: 5.3", 1200x800 SuperAMOLED, S-PEN stylus, 2500mAh attery... *phew*

Can someone confirm which game controllers work on ICS ?

I'm not fussy as to whether they're wired or not

I've got a PS3 Dualshock running with sixaxis controller (needs root) but i don't think thats what you were after...

Going to bite the bullet and install CM9 today, just running a backup now and kicking off the downloads, need to work out which safe rom to flash back to first...

My battery life truly sucks. I took it off the charger yesterday morning, used Google Maps for about 15 min in the morning, a handful of photos and twitter updates then switched it to Flight mode for a few hours. Resumed Google maps for an hour, 15 min of phone calls and 1 hr of Tune In Radio and it was down to 2% by 8.30pm and I switched it off.

It wont deep sleep unless I pull the battery every day. Otherwise CPU Spy is showing the CPU at 200Mhz all night while its plugged in charging.

Any way to tell if a particular Ap is causing this?

have you tried better battery stats yet?

post a screenshot of these 2 pages after a good few hours usage/standby:

You might as well consider paranoid Android. It's basically CM9 but with extra features like dpi per app

DoubleCheese - those stats look ok to me - was off charge 7hrs and nothing there has been draining battery imo.

Would help me to see your standard Android battery stats: i.e.

Sleeping ok from those stats there. Battery life seems normal too i.e. 3-4hrs screen use on a full charge.

When you get the battery drain (no deep sleeping) post the same screens again so we can see what's causing it; at the moment its all hunky-dory :)

That looks okay to me. That means on a full charge over 24 hours~ you'd be getting close to 4 hours of screen time on a Note - that's good.

Just installed CM10, pretty good considering how early a build it is. No crashes yet, however it's a lot less smooth than CM9 and feels a bit sluggish. Also some missing features (the most prominent being Trebuchet).

My upgrade with O2 is in 2 weeks, I've wanted a note for a long time, almost bought it a few months ago. It's pointless me getting the note now, my contract averages £65 per month, so the note 2 is my next upgrade and easily within budget.

Any news on release dates? I've got the upgrading itch but want to hold out for this beaut of a phone.

Not too long to wait. :)

Any body experiencing their Note being occasionally slow to wake up and the screen being responsive?

Sometimes I press unlock and the screen comes on fine but it doesn't respond to touch for 5 secs or so. Running Paranoid Android but it was doing the same on stock.

I had this problem with early variants of PA, never with stock though.

If you're currently on PA try this kernel: Anidroid (v7 for overclocked GPU, v8 for underclocked/undervolted GPU) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1789397
