I order one last night through dialaphone (part of phones4U i believe) on o2. Free phone with 100min unlimited text for £20 a month over 18 months.

Now i know i'll need internet and more minute so i'll up this to the £30 deal with o2 once i get the phone (this will give me 300min unlimited text and a web bolt on). Only reason i didn't go for the above deal was becasue i wanted to go back to o2 as the coverage seems better in my area. And i'll be able to drop back down to £20 a month if something new comes out that i fancy and i'll be able to pay the contract off for less. At least that how i hope it'll work.

Either way it works out less than buying sim free and getting a sim only plan, taking into account quidco and selling my n900.

Where abouts is that one? I see one 18 month contract for same amount of txts, data but with 500mins

Vodafone are messing me me about right now. It's starting to really get me wound up.

As much as I despise P4U I should've ordered there.
 
My wifes SGS just turned up from orange only ordered it yesterday evening :)
im not allowed to open it :( untill she gets home from uni

im gonna feel abit backward with my hero :(
 
Yeh I'd have gone for the O2 deal aswell as its cracking but the lack of data puts me off, could do with the 500mb data tbh!

It's going to cost me £75 to pay off my current contract which expires at the beginning of March, so don't know if it's worth just waiting till February and putting up with my horrible phone and waiting this contract out rather than having to plump up £75 to get out of it - hopefully there might be something even better out by then anyway, or I may just end up buying something SIM free and stickign myself on 12 month Simplicity.

See of O2 will offer you the phone SIM free they were doing them for £319. Paying outa contact sounds very expensive
 
I did ring up to see if they could sort me a deal out, but they said the only way to get an early upgrade would be to the new iPhone and it would cost £199, they won't do a deal on anything else :( Which isn't too bad really I guess, but the tarriff is £35 a month. Bit turd really when I can get the Galaxy S for £27.50 a month with a better tarrif and the phone for free.

My outlay would be £200 for the iphone and £35 a month if I went with that deal, or £75 to pay off my contract and £27.50 a month with free Galaxy S if I go with Phones4U.

Might just wait till the end of the month to see where my finances are, plus it should be one less month to pay off aswell.

its not that bad weight wise not as i expected from the reviews but the battery cover is as flexible as a babys bootie
had a few hours hands on with the SGS and i have one question

seriously there is nothing right with it its slow and wtf with the iphoneesq iocns? LauncherPro installed
Sense realy is king and the new sense is even better
otherwise im impressed and did infact shed a tear for my hero
