Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 Tablet

Mine arrived yesterday. Just spent today getting familar with it. Awesome bit of kit, the screen is stunning. Will probably root it and install a more vanilla android on it, but may wait to see ics first.
Its playing most media I can throw at it, merrily streaming from my Nas. Any recommendations for games?
 
It got here at 11am and set out from Hk yday at 1am so that's about 34 hours and the order was placed about 30 hours before it set off, so you could call that fast. so I'll be doing my switch on check and pixel test after lunch.:D

I wonder how much they're gona charge for the SG S3 if they sell it.;)

When I got my Note I tried go launcher but it stretched all my lock and wall paper so I thought argh sod this and deleted it, more interested now, do you know of a good thread where I could look into rooting a device, I might practice on my Ace, I'm an old newb but can pick up new things relatively well. Thanks.

If you take a look at the xda forums; there are guides on rooting most devices including the 7.7. Generally its very straight forward.

There is a specific Go launcher for tablets - I find it much better options wise than stock - its smoother too.

I'm using normal Go Launcher on the Note, it works fine - no stretching etc. It has a load of options so maybe you just need to tweak a few.

Thanks, I did the go thing when I first had the Note, a step up from my apollo, so at the time it was too much trouble even to tweak because just using the Note was good enough.

However I'm gona research it all out and do it properly, perhaps using my Ace to practice unless the Note is the better candidate.

You can do it on the Note - it won't delete your current launcher setting sas they are separate - just have to make you current launcher default again if you want it back.
