Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 Tablet

The purple shirts had it the 7.0 plus model with the information on the card as the 7.7. If they dont know what they're selling i'm not shopping there.

The physical feel, it was ultra thin and I quite liked the angular corners. I'd still take the Sammy over it of course :p Quite honestly we got loads of tablets both older now and upcoming/unreleased and NDA'd. Other than the thickness and a few physical tweaks - all with Honeycomb is a bit.... meh. All the same and seen it before. Roll on ICS! I've yet to see that on a tablet.

Must be nice to fiddle with them all... how do you find the Prime? Do you prefer 10" tabs over 7" tabs for everyday use?

Yes I love playing with all the gadgets coming in, I actively make sure no one knows the WiFi password so they always have to come to me to type it in ;) There is a picture somewhere of our Mobile Product Managers desk. I'll see if I can dig it out.

I don't think we have the Transformer Prime in, we've got the original knocking around somewhere.

I have a Touchpad personally but having played with a few 7" and 8" I think the smaller is a better form factor. You don't lose anything with the good resolutions and is far far more portable. Getting the Touchpad out on a train is quite a mission and I end up just digging in my pocket for my Pre3 as it is just easier.
 
February from all accounts... some people in Asia already have one, and I hear some Europeans have had one imported too. No imports for me though, genuines only. :)

Had a quick play with one of these that a friend picked up when in Asia. Form factor is very nice, as is the weight. Looking forward to soft buttons for controls on all my Android devices as can be annoying looking for them in landscape mode!
