Hi, I'm looking at getting either a flip 5 or 6 for my partners birthday next month. Does anyone know of some good deals please?
Thanks, yes I've seen them.I looked, the best I found is £540 on eBay....Amazon is £660.
I actually picked up a like new condition one on Facebook Marketplace today for £380.
Small handbag unfortunately and there is very little out there that will fit. She's currently got a pixel 4a which is the limit.Sounds like a decent deal.
Personally I don't think the compromise of the flip folding screen is worth it just to save some pocket bulk. Cool device though, just still sprouted about the screen failures.

She hasn't got it yet as her birthday is next week. Thanks for the advice about case though, I've got her an official case as well but she'll not take it off once fitted. My fiance loves her's. She has now figured out how to install more apps on the outside screen, and use it more and more without having to open the phone. Using the outside screen to take photos, selfies, check messages and even quick reply to WhatsApp messages. There are also a lot of accessories and cases out there that make this phone looking "cute". More so than even the iPhone.
The only thing I dislike about the cases are that they all need an adhesive, all of them, including the Official Samsung ones. So it makes swapping and changing cases back and forth more difficult. Once you take it off, the adhesive is exposed and thus next time it would be less sticky and more likely to slide off.
Also, some cases comes with plastic screen on the case and some cases has a hole. Meaning if you put on a screen protector directly on the outside screen, you can't use the cases that comes with screen protector as part of the case structure/design. I much prefer putting on a glass protector and use cases with the hole for the front screen.

Had to fix my Fold 3 under warranty a while back with one half of the inside screen not registering touch. They ended up changing the battery and other stuff at the same time. It's been fine since. It doesn't get as much usage as before as its my second phone now, but I've had it from day 1 release.Z fold / flip crew, what have you done when the internal screen protector peels?
Z fold 4 here, bought refurbished over a year ago. So it won't have the 1x freebie.
Honestly after reading the horror stories of phones breaking after going into Samsung for hinges / screens. (Plus my Samsung watch had a battery change, then a month later stopped working and they wouldn't warranty fix it)
I'm a bit reluctant to send them it !
Seriously tempted just to remove it and just roll without one.
I'll need a new case if I get somewhere to do it as well with the way these have to be stuck on.
