Samsung KS7000 55inch just been delivered...

What issues did you have?

Back coming off. The one I have now is solid with no parts coming away. It's back on the wall mount now.

It does sound like you have a duff one tbh. Having had a fair few sets including Plasma and OLED the 7000 has a superb picture.

Try a replacement and see how it goes...

What I did notice is that when mounting it on the VESA the design means that the TV is not totally Flat to the wall

The bottom is wider than the top so it looks odd on the wall...?

Slanted backwards...

My wall mount tilts it forward. It's fatter at the bottom as that where the backlight and speakers, electronics etc are mounted.

Mine had the same back panel peeling off issue that and the bleed was the reasons I returned the 60inc version

Looks like you have a duff one. I'm happy with mine, it's been great so far. Up to you if you want to try another or not I guess.

I suppose with a 5year guarantee (preferably JL as opposed to Curry's - pricematch it ?) can always get a replacement fixed if the glued back panel subsequently detaches, under LED heat, as some of other forums suggest.

We all know no screen tech is perfect. If it was just tv viewing only id be tempted with an oled tv right now, but as i will use it for the pc / ps4 i opted for the K8000. Having had plasma in the past and upgrading from a sony w829 50" i have been impressed with picture quality including black level detail.

For me i would like to see oled tech mature a bit more. I hope by the end of 2017 we might see some screens which will cater for all scenarios.

As for the original post, get it swapped. I wouldnt accept a new screen in that condition and im sure the replacement will be fine. Hope all goes well for ya.

You have a very similar setup to me Moogleys, bar the TV, Im still to get a 4K set.

I wish I wall mounted my Sony W905 lower down, its quite high and to far from my centre speaker.
