Which one? Dont think there is a sport mode.

Only HDR+ and Game mode.
I'll have a look tonight and get back to you - I was flicking through the settings on my KS7000 last night and I'm almost sure there was a setting specifically relating to sports...I'll get back to you.

Edit: AutoMotion Plus sounds right.

So I have recently got a 55 KS7500.

Its been great, looks solid but occasionally when Im watching football I get what looks like slight stuttering, it only occurs about once ever 20 minutes or so and lasts literally 1 second but its annoying me.

Is this a fault with the set? is it a setting I need to change? - True motion is off.

Does it sort of slow down and speed back up?

If you read my thread on my new 49 inch KS7000, i'm having a few similar issues. Watching fast and loud last night and I experienced this type of effect.

Exactly this.

It only happens for about 1 second then returns to normal.

edit: although looking at your eurosport/glitching thread, I dont get this, not like this at all - i get what appears to be a frame delay, sort of lags for a second then returns to normal.

Yeah - The youtube clip is a separate issue i've discovered when watching sport with very high blur rates. Motion processing needs to be completely off to eradicate this.

I first experienced the issue you mentioned last night. Slow down and speed up. I'll try and record and instance of it for comparison when I get in.

From memory, to fix it (or at least improve it) I switched the TV into HDR+ mode (specialist viewing mode) Turned the motion processing to custom, Blur all the way down, Judder all the way down but changed the LED Clear motion to "On". The image won't be as bright, but remains crisp and "freeze" free.

I'm tempted to return mine. I think because it's such a jump in size, you notice imperfections and over-processing so easily and you end up actually looking for them, ruining your viewing experience.

Ill give this a go, but I know what you mean. its such a huge investment and you generally want to be 100% happy.

Im thinking about getting a KS8000 replacement instead of the KS7500. It does only seem to be happening with Virgin, not noticed it all on anything else. We are also moving to sky at the weekend so Ill hold off until then atleast.

I'm inclined to agree with you, however, I also had some artifacts on a Snowboarding Blu Ray if I attempted to use any motion processing. It just doesn't seem to be up to the job on fast paced sports/action documentaries, which is sadly what I mostly use it for.

Planet Earth 2 (Recorded on the TIVO) looks stunning and crisp, even with motion processing, but this is probably due to the fact that there are lots of static or slow moving camerashots as opposed to fast-sweeping pans.

There is a sports mode for me in that sub-menu. Is top of the list. There are a few further options under sport settings mode such as recording highlights to a USB and what not and it tweaks few things like audio and the picture.

Really impressed with mine, picture quality is fantastic, the smart controller is great too, controls my TiVo box and my xbox one s.
Yeah,

I'm not knocking the picture quality - it is fantastic. My issue is that i'm finding it hard to get one setting which is suitable for all viewing types.

Thought I post in here, save creating a new thread.

To all new owners of the KS7000, have you been happy with your new TV, has anyone had the back panel issue?

Im almost decided on getting this TV in the 49" size and Im hoping that the back panel issue was isolated to an older batch and everyone with recent orders have been fine?

I can get the TV for £788, which sounds like a good price.

Thank's

I'll try it and see how it goes.

Any tips on cleaning the screen? Got loads of smudges that a microfibre cloth didn't remove.

I use the Ecomoist stuff available on Rain forest site. Does the job fine with a small spray and followed up by a microfibre.

Can you be more specific than 'the back panel issue'?

I believe he is refereeing to some people who had the rear panel of the model fall off as it was not attached fully.

Not had that issue myself now a few months in, all good.

Yes sorry, the back panel separation which some were having.

I believe he is refereeing to some people who had the rear panel of the model fall off as it was not attached fully.

That's it, hopefully it was only a small batch that was effected. good to hear your not effected.

Thank's
