Is it a standard thing with laptops to have the CPU sticker (in this case the Atom) to be applied by a one eyed, squinting drunkard to get it at that specific wonky angle?

Only thing I don't like is the shift key on the right should be larger imo.

Dont mind the slash key but yeah, right shift should be bigger. Shame really as website and manual shows picture of large shift. Oh well, small gripe in an otherwise perfect piece of work.

Is everyone else keeping the recovery partition?

For those having wireless network problems ... (I only had a 4 meter range)

Hope that helps some people out. Had mine about 2 weeks now and am loving it , but had to get a data package added to my phone for true mobile internet ;)

I simply love mine :)

So what is the general consensus on the performance increase of having 2gig of ram? It worth it for the cheap upgrade price?
If you're sticking to XP, 1gb should be plenty.

Bear in mind hibernation would take twice as long with 2gb, a very useful feature I'm using for speedier cold boots.

Has anyone figured out how to make a bootable usb stick, for use with Ghost? Net info is pretty scattered and out of date.

Even if I used the Samsung recovery it still needs an external DVD writer, it doesn't support dumping an image to usb stick, let alone restore from one.

Mine was due for delivery today so I made sure someone was in to receive it.

+ Got home at 4.45pm - no parcel
+ 30 mins later I checked the DHL online tracking system: It says attempted delivery at 5pm and apparently they left a card.
+ Then the next update was 6 minutes later reading: returned to Aintree distribution centre, awaiting further instruction.

Right. So after the invisible delivery man knocked silently on my door, left an invisible card he then drove from my house to the Aintree distribution centre, which has got to be at least a 20 minutes car ride, unpacked his van and scanned my package all within 6 minutes.

I didn't know DHL employed super humans... :(

yeah DHL are b*stards for doing that, they have done that to me twice, if you get them on the phone its quicker to just go to thier depot and collect from there, if they are delivering to a residential address they dont give a crap, biz addresses get priority. its why i avoid buying from places that use them and the royal mail if i can (royal mail can be as bad but have a way more convenient depot for collecting)

edit: did ocuk not used to have citylink as a delivery option? they much my preferred and i thought id used them for some ocuk bought items in the past?

damm i haddnt noticed the change over, i dont see why if there is a choice of royal mail and dhl they cant keep citylink as a delivery option too, then the customer can choose which one they want. not having city link do deliverys for me is just asking me to find someone else who sells the stuff im after when buying :-(

like i said offer both then the customer can choose, city link have never once given me a prob and i use them far more than any other delivery company but yes i do know that in some areas they are crap but here they are excellent
