I never even ran mine with 1GB, but with 2 I can say that everything is pretty smooth. That's running Firefox, Word, and streaming 15,000 MP3s over my wireless connection. Obviously only playing one at once

A question that has been discussed a lot is about 720p HD video playback, obviously this computer struggles with playback. Now I have personnally successfully tested Media Player Classic alongside CoreAVC. Unfortunately CoreAVC is not free software, before I reach for my wallet is there any software (codecs) that might provide smooth feedback for free......................................

What timings does that use on the NC-10 (check in CPU-Z)?

Does anyone play any games on this, was thinking of getting Roller Coaster Tycoon to play on the train as no fast movements are required on the track pad. Anyone got it?

Yeah im looking for some games aswell, Ive played some ROMS and Emulators on there such as Megadrive which works fine, Im trying to think of some oldish PC games which would run fine.

I've got Vice City running nicely on mine. Unlike San Andreas, VC recognises the NC10's res and doesn't suffer from massive frame rate drops. Works great with a logitech wireless ratter.

download some Old Emulators such as Mega Drive, Super Nintendo etc. they have 1000's of old school cool games!

I can confirm that guild wars works quite well.

I set my NC to performance mode to take out the lag spikes but I played it for a few hours and it was fun.

Will deffo install some of the above games for some fun.

Ordered one of these for my Mother and it arrived this mourning. Everyone is so impressed by it. Having McAfee pre-installed is a bit of an annoyance but otherwise its a top banana product, cheers OCuk!

P.S. The battery life is unreal!!!
