Very much so, as long as there is no visible colour degradation from viewing it above 45 degrees it's all good. I don't normally game from the floor though lol

I think they AOC has VESA mount. Something I miss in truth.

I'm really sorry if this has already been covered. I have skimmed the thread but at time of reading I have a massive headache.

I currently have 2 x 7950s so 1440p is possible, just but obviously no 4k. However I am using a Dell 720p 20" monitor and I need to upgrade. I have had the BenQ and the Dell IPS and wasn't happy with either. This looks like a really nice monitor to buy now and then I can have 4k when I have the gfx power.

So while I could have the desktop 4k, in games if I was to select 1080p, does the monitor automatically scale it or do you get black borders?

Both are 16.9 so should playback fine without borders.

So long as the game isn't VRAM heavy, you should be ok. 2GB would be pushing it for some titles but turning AA off will help.

Mine came on Saturday and my god, for the first time in my life I was blown away bf 4 looks incredible. My 2xr290x cope really well with everything on ultra. If anyone's having second thoughts about getting one don't, the step up for me from 1080p is breathtaking you need to see it to be leave it.

Hi. That's good news. Really want one. Can you please do me a favour and try playing a game at 1440p? Sounds odd I know but I would like to know how the scaling looks from 4k to 1440p for those occasions when my system can't drive 4k optimally.

Awesome and glad someone else has experienced 4K gaming. Hard to explain but IQ is awesome and I had previously downsampled to almost 4K and that doesn't even come close to 4K gaming for IQ. What downsampling does is give you an idea if your system can cope with a 4k monitor.

The pixel density is something else, I started off with BF3 and didnt think it was much of an improvement, till I realised I was sat back... So moved closer as well as the monitor closer to the front of my desk and suddenly, wow, cant see any pixels still, everything is pin sharp... So just bought and installed titanfall

I'm actually cancelling my oculus rift DK2 order, not because of Facebook but i'm that impressed with this monitor that i'll wait for 4k OR

Good to hear Andy. People need to experience 4K to grasp the image quality.
