Have you tried looking at the RAS Port options in perfmon? If you are sitting on the same machine as the modem it is possible to get the info. Your modem may appear as an ISDN adapter

not sure on the USB modem thingy at the mo as i dont have one here to play around and test. but i think it should be possible as i think u can press good old ctrl alt del and go to network and u can see the upload / download there so it is stored just need to find out where

OK, I've been trying to get my PC Samurized after seeing some lovely results on OcUK...

So far I've got this:-

Main problems I have are:-

I want to integrate TV listings and weather but have no idea how to do anything other than use the scripts already built into Samurize.

I've downloaded the UKTV+Sky script from the Samurize thread, but how do I use it? (couldn't make much progress with the supplied readme

). Also, how do I add other channels, i.e. Paramount, MTV2, BBC 3, BB4 etc.?

Basically same problems with the weather, haven't downloaded one but I want one which has displayable temps and weather in *C.

Last thing I want is some sort of news script that has clickable headlines to take you to the news website with said story.

Also, the Silver scheme in XP is a touch anemic, any way to change them to custom colours, and any way to change the colour/text on the start button?

How do I start putting links on top of my Samurize setup now? (I want a few big buttons for IE, Outlook, Bulletproof FTP etc.)

Is any of the above possible for someone who only dled Samurize today?

Search this thread for some links to news scripts and weather scripts. Note some news scripts will require modifying

For clickable items any Meter can be linked by enabling Allow Meter Linkage. Note wont work if you've pinned it to the desktop. To enable an image to be linkable place an empty text file over it and enable that instead.

here's the file.... i've added news since i think but should get the jist...

oh btw its about 2 megs i think, zipped.

unzipped it and put it in program files and open up the ini file and double check all the links and stuff are correct.

snow munki - one question m8- the tv in the config you used i was going to copy and use for mine, but keep the rest of mine, but prob im having is im getting tv for 1pm not now.
