The title that was there pre release so did exactly what it set out to do.

I know, when the OcUK deliveries seemed to be dribs and drabs, I just stumped up for an Nvidia card, in stock, delivered, fitted and working really well.
oooo... careful.. don't say that too loud though, the children don't like that you chose something else because AMD failed to deliver.
On a serious note, I will be very interested to see what happens once both 480 and 1060 are fully in stock.
Without dredging through this entire thread... What is the current estimated arrival day for Powercolor cards? I was told Aug 12 before via webnote, but I think I am reading there have been delays?
Could anyone shed some light on this please? What date for Devils, and how many (if anybody knows)?
I swapped my order for an 8GB Nitro+ OC RX 470. Basically the same card and I saved myself some money and it's in stock
The 470 was my original plan too, the card I was always most excited about. A new new price/performance king.
I'm glad that the Sapphire Nitro versions don't have the lower VRAM speeds, really puts it right on even the 8GB 480's tail.
I think the 470 is too expensive. The 8gb 470 is only £30 cheaper than the 8gb 480, and more expensive than the 4gb 480, minus the wait time i think most people would want a 480, 4gb or 8gb, rather than a 470.
I'm so bored waiting now
Never mind the RX 470 or RX 460
Hope I get my 480 before they release the RX 490
It'll get announced in mid August and start "Shipping" end of the month.
So if you pre-order launch day you might get it end of December.
December 2017 for the OC version
Yet expect mass aftermarket and reference versions of the cut down 485 before then, but close in price to the 490.

Well I just couldn't help myself, I just picked up one of these Freesync monitors:
http://www.lg.com/uk/monitors/lg-29UM68
I really wanted something with a 144Mhz refresh rate & a Freesync range down in to the 30hz, however this also doubles the price
As long as the RX 480 can push 40fps minimum this should work out nicely, I'll have to make 40fps my absolute minimum and set the quality settings appropriately.
I've heard tearing can occur over the maximum too (75hz) - so is it worth locking games (if possible) to 75fps max to stop this from happening? Can the 480 do that?
EDIT: I've just read the monitor can be overclocked slightly which will be a nice bonus 32-85hz apparently.
