At least you can do a bit more than play minesweeper with that lol ,really excited about playing with my new "toy" when I get it :D

Actually they're very similar performance wise, and you're a tad faster. :p

has anybody had any issues with the reference cards since AMD released the newer driver? i just need a new GPU to tide me over for another 2yrs until i start my next rig. im thinking the reference card would be ideal.

good luck. Got mine last week and, despite not having time to play with it over the weekend. It is lovely to look at :)

Damn ,you are right I just looked it up :D I did not realise that card was that bad "falls of his chair" .Its hilarious however when I get a 4400+CPU score and 367 GPU score in Time Spy ,it just looks wrong :D

My 7870 appears to be on it's last legs now, all sorts of little graphical glitches and flickering even on desktop, and running at stock. Hope it holds out til the 480 comes else I'll have to resort to on-board (noooooooooooo!)

If you have to resort to onboard then I would recommend getting your hands on dolphin with some non-demanding wii games and play those at the wii's native res.

It what I have done to survive the past month.

Of course if your onboard is weaker than intel HD 4600 then you might have a problem there.

I've just went from 78th in the queue last week
To 94th this week!

How the heck does that work out?
