SAPPHIRE RX 480 NITRO NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (WORLD FIRST) !!!

My web not response today was:

"Thank you for your webnote, we have had stock arrive but there was not enough to cover the pre-orders but we hope for more stock, today, next week or the 12th August, fingers crossed sorry for the delay, in terms of the queue position 195, have a great day."

I suppose they're getting X number of cards this week and expect more the next. So if you're up to queue position X you could get yours with the shipment of the 5th. If you're >X then you're probably due from the next batch expected on the 12th.

It's really not like they can do much about it. They ship as many cards out as they get from Sapphire, as soon as they get them.

Let's hope production stabilizes at a high enough rate so that the pre-orders are cleared soon.

That's if your queue position doesn't go down!

I can see this happening for a number of reason (e.g. a card was returned due to being faulty and client was moved to the top of the queue for replacement) but I doubt anyone will slide down the queue by any significant margin.

I need to ask a silly question .As i paid through Amazon does OCUK take the payment off my credit card or off my Amazon balance (either way is fine i have plenty in both) ,just curious as i have never used this payment method before? O.o

It'll come off the main card which you use on Amazon. Also, they'll only take the money when/just before the item is shipped (if you didn't use Amazon payments then they'd usuaĺly take it when you placed the order).

There was mean't to be a delivery on fri or today
and I've still went down the queue.

Hope there hasn't been that many faulty cards!

What can I say...

The thing is, if you miss a batch of cards delivered by Sapphire, I guess you have to go on to the next batch. So if you became number 101 in the queue but they only got 100 today, you'd have to wait until the 5th for the next 100 cards...

Maybe you were the unlucky X+1! :(

Patience my friend! We still get cards faster than anybody through OCUK!

I phoned them earlier. They told me they have received a few today and they are expecting another batch this week and next week around the 12th but they don't know how many sapphire will be sending them in each batch.

Also i was 170th last week now i am 85th if that helps anyone.

Well i know some more are being shipped out , i just got a mail saying DPD will be dropping by. As for my number . never asked .

But i did place the order @ 19:12 on the 2nd :)
