Saxxxo VTR

Perhaps why that was why my quote was low.............I used a W reg plate car :( when I want a 98bhp VTR.

1. There was no difference in quote from my T plate 90bhp one and my X plate 98bhp one.

2. There was no difference in performance from my T plate 90bhp one and my X plate 98bhp one.

:)

my friend who owns a garage tends to deal with a lot of saxos, he has 3 for sale now, when i drive them i find them CRAP, dont get me started on how stupidly close the peddels are together, also the rocker cover rots as does both iner wings..

ps if you have over size 5 feet dont bother

Rocker cover gets a bit of surface rust on it, boo hoo they are £20 from citroen.

Inner Wings have been immaculate on both of mine and all of my friends ones.

I have size 11 feet and can drive it fine.

Black, posi and silver are all a bit common on mk2 saxos. Amazon Green, Topaz Gold and the Two Tone Silver and Grey are a bit minging. Icelandic Grey (light blue), Marautius blue (navy), Wicked Red (Metalic Red) would be my choice from the rest.

Dealer or private its up to you. Just make sure the car has full service history and check all the obvious things and it will be fine.

Marautius has to be seen in the flesh to be appreciated. Its the only pearlescent colour from the saxo range and goes from purple-blue-green etc. Looks awesome. Shame the only pic I have is in dull light

Not true, the Icelandic is also a multi-tonal colour, containing even pink in the mix of colours. Changes from silver, through grey, light blue, and even a superb bright blue in intense light.

I meant mk1 colours of course ;)

It doesn't have one no. As far as fitting one goes, I never so much as even had someone look at it, let alone try to break into it. If you want it for peace of mind, go for it, I couldn't be bothered though.

Also, I seem to rememberthat icelandic wasn't available until quite late on in the saxo's production, early MK2's weren't available in it. What is your budget again?

£3k

It's either that Blue, Poisedon what ever it's called or Silver.

tbh, I haven't seen many icelandic saxo's in my price range.
