Just been confirmed by OCUK staff - they are C2 stepping

I have a asus sabertooth and 32Gb of the GSkill 2133Mhz RAM..
I 'might' flog the sabertooth and go for the R4E, but Im still undecided on that..
My uncle has a cheapish one spare due to a very lucky delivery failure. The only thing holding me back was that I wanted a midi tower and the R4E will need a full tower as it is E-ATX..

Is it sad that I cant stop smiling??

Only if its sad that i jumped in the air on the way to the kitchen (after ordering)

My R4E fits in the 650D with no promlems, thats midi im sure

Thats interesting as it doesn't list E-ATX support on the ocuk website..
Mind you, for 20 quid more I could get a TJ07..

The R4E isn't a proper E-ATX motherboard, it's simply 1 inch wider than normal ATX boards so it should still fit in most mid tower cases.

yeah i was worried about that as well but after posting around on the forums i got some confirmation.

but i can also confirm it fits, it does cover a few of the cable holes though but nothing problematic

It's been like that since the Wednesday after new year lol! Staring at me!
I got the case and drives ordered but then the mobo n ram wer on offer so I bought em, think I musta still bin drunk lol!

Did a lot of rebuilding of my old kit too, which still has the gpu in!

If I had had my case I think I would have done the same. I have a box of bits sitting in the lounge, didn't put them away as I enjoyed being able to see my bits even if I couldn't do anything with them!

That is a nice spec there, be interesting to see what clocks you get with all 8 RAM filled, I have gone for 32Gb of the 17000C9 G.Skill matched sets, so in a similar situation..

well all I have to do is choose the case now
corsair 650D, or 600T or or swallow the pricier option and get the TJ07

gonna sleep on it I think and see how I feel tomorrow - enough excitement for one day!!

Yeah I was goin to get the 17000 but they didn't have any 32gb sets in when I got mine, also read that the benefits drop off after 1600mhz, so I impulsed it lol
