Scariest ''level'' in a video game

I hated playing Resident Evil games, they always scared the crap out of me. Doom 3 wasn't exactly scary but it always made me jump running around 90% of the game in the dark.

Playing at the marine in AVP is just as bad, at least the Predator and Alien have vision modes
 
Silent Hills scare's the **** out of me.

Can remember when i was about 16, me and a mate rented out one of the Silent Hill's and we was playing it about 1 in the morning. Me getting stuck into it then turned round to say something to my mate to notice he had fell asleep.

I swiftly turned off the game and just put a film on :p

The proper Resident Evils are creepy to.

Yea the first avp as the marine was terrifying for me back in the day, i remember one level i went into a bathroom i think it was and the place was quite dark, tracker went off on the smartgun, didnt look like an alien, this thing was scuttling from side to side a few times then stopped and jumped at the screen and started humping my monitor, i swear i must have jumped a foot in the air, dam facehuggers i then came to know them as, needless to say i hardly ever played the marine again on that game, hate them facehuggers

If it moves in any AvP games, you kill it.. no questions asked especially if the smartgun tracks it. Work out what it was when its not moving anymore!
