No..garaaage is right...its nothin to do with the canadian in you, its cos youre southern and therefore not a dirty northern peasant who cant speak proper english :o

I dont know but i know a lot of londoners say garidge and when i say garaaage they kinda look at me funny then say..oh you must be american :( ...no im not im canadian

Sadly there are also peasants in london....the home counties and the better areas of london all pronounce it correctly.

Same reasoning that I use for saying scone :)

Surely it'd be s-con if it was pronounced that other way - like 'con' with an 's' in front although saying that could be like 'gone' but with an 'sc'...

Hmm, confusing myself now dammit :p

Near where I grew up there is a palace called Scone Palace...for that it's pronounced "skoon".

But I would say "skon" for the scones you eat....
