My average cpu time per unit is 3 hr 50 min 56.4 sec over 128 units, pretty good for an A64 3200+.
I should get about 2 done per day if i have the pc on in the evenings, hopefully that'll be a little boost to your stats.
Can't to 24/7 unfortunately.

Every little helps. BTW you should be able to acheive slightly faster times than that on an athlon 3200+

My XP1700 averages at about 4 hr's 30. You using the CLI?

I'm using the GUI. Hate text console versions of anything. What sort of an impact does that have on times?
Is there a text version of folding btw or does its GUI have virtually no impact on processing time?
I'd happily run folding on command line in the future as i won't have to mess around with it.
 
The text console in SETI classic runs approximately twice as fast. use it! Download SETI driver and you'll have a GUI interface for the CLI client.

FAH definitely has a CLI client and it IS faster, but not twice as fast. It's along the lines of 15% faster on average. The advantage to the FAH colsole is it becomes a local service; it runs when no one is logged in.

I'll try and get hold of the seti cli client then.
As for the fah cli, i'll be using that after the 15th, because i'll need to use the dual core version which iirc is only command line.

Edit: Can't seem to find the windows command line version in that list in the first post. Where can i get it?

I think im gonna add some more computers to the push. Another 20 P4s should to the trick.

I hope once classic closes all the new ppl are going to be crunching seti boinc. We need to get our production up there or well lose our number 2 spot.
 
With any luck* I'll be able to add about 8 more P4 2.8's tomorrow too, but I fear we still need more :confused:

We need more people moving to fah aswell, were 56th there and we need a boost.

In my opinion, once we have enough resources going into boinc to keep us in 2nd, we shouldn't add anymore, as the remaining resources would achieve far more if moved to fah rather than chasing 1st place in boinc and trying to beat a team with almost twice our total credit and 5.4 times our number of users.

Those surplus resources not needed to keep us comfortably in 2nd if moved to fah could give us a much needed boost and get us into a more respectable poisition.

I think being 2nd in fah and 2nd in boinc would be better than being 1st in boinc and 56th in fah... if you see what i'm saying.
