he's on 6 month probation
they can fire him for whatever reason they want. I agree with the OP, i think resigning with a clean record was the best bet.
I can't believe you just gave up like that :/
That he knows some students, which they were aware of before employing him. He is also a very similar age to said studentsFrom the employers point of view:
You have a young lad start what is probably his first job.
An accusation that he had been inappropriate with a girl at the school leads to an investigation
The investigation proves false but does highlight that he has a relationship with a student.
He's still on probation and you have a get out of jail free card to avoid the risk of problems in the future.
What do you do?
Oh sorry, I missed that bit of the threadThat he knows some students, which they were aware of before employing him. He is also a very similar age to said students
Ok ok so I've read them now. Still hope he takes them to the cleanersThat's the spirit![]()
this.
as frustrating as it is, all you can do at this stage is bend over and get shafted. he has like no options, and no employment rights, sucks
of course they can
but they didnt
instead they decided to dirty his name by pretty much accusing him of things he did not do. surely thats not supposed to be allowed to happen ? (although maybe it is)
I shall let you know what's going on![]()
