Reviews of them being crap would probably have helped him to decide not to do it!
Thought the only mini system to have the supply issue was the nes mini, there have been multiple minis after with no supply issues.
Snes mini was also a little hard to track down. But there was constant restocks.
Wouldnt surprise me if there are stocks of the megadrive available. Just due to the sheer quantity of AtGames crap over the last few years.
Now Sega have realised that it could be a money maker, they're taking the Megadrive seriously again. Finally.

I cant commit to these devices until we know the hardware/emulation is done well. The PS1 version was apparently just awful in this regard. A good game list is one thing, but making a unit that runs it all as it should is another! Have more faith than the awful AT products we have seen before though

Phantasy Star IV was brilliant!
So, 30 of the 40 games announced and today we get the final 12 (!) games announced. Yup, it's got 42 games now.
So, no Sonic 3, no Boogerman, no Desert/Jungle/Urban Strike, no Splatterhouse...
But, you can get a MegaCD, 32X and cartridges for it.
Cosmetic only, but I may try to get a MegaCD.

Overall a bit rubbish as you say, but Sonic CD is arguably the best sonic game!
Seems a bit silly not to include it then (especially as it is a Sega owned title) along with 32x enhanced versions of other games.
Sonic 3 appears to be missing too unfortunately.
