i dont know if they are much worse, they are more 'different'. I think most people would agree that the 650s are better at what they do than the 700s are at what they do. I don't know if that makes them worse, i guess it depends on what you want.

Just make a thread in general hardware Ryan, mostly unbiased opinions in there and you should have someone set you up a basket of components in no time. CPU should no doubt be Intel as AMD are rubbish in that area at the moment, just don't ask which GPU to go for in the GPU section

I disagree - best way to get helpful replies is to make an AMD v nVidia? thread in the GPU forum - people will fall over themselves to give constructive advice.

One good thing about posting in General Hardware though there are some clued up people who will post baskets with good reasoning for the configuration which can be useful to narrow it down.

Youtube is great for comments - half the ones I've had - other than assuming they are insults due to some of the words are literally no more than a random jumble of words - sometimes not even a fully formed word. (I've never seen anything like it outside of youtube in all my time on the internet).

Thinking of picking up a Modi 2 then I can stack with the Vali & Vali 2. Was going to get the Bifrost but it's massive! and I doubt it offers anything better over the Modi 2.

I amp warm so the tubes I'll be using will not be suitable. Vali is in between and resolving so I use it a lot for gaming.

Just got back from seeing Blackstone Cherry, Shinedown and Halestorm, so my HD650s are going to be taking a pummelling for the next few days - the Vali will be CRANKED
