Just tried another app_info.xml from the seti forum with some extra entries for 608 and cuda but same thing.

There are 12 CUDA fermi apps running but their ETA is between 1h25m and 4h10m

Gonna try dropping it down to two apps per card.

let them run for a while as the ETA for fermi is way off unless you manually add the FLOPS value to the app_info which is currently not advised...

Heat doesn't seem to bad today wonder how it will be by the weekend underclocks at the ready!
Hows your 470 working out Edge, i have tried running 2 -3 instances of fermi on the same gpu and doesn't seem to be worth the while bearing in mind the fans have to be cranked up and theres extra heat.

Im probably lucky as the rig is at work, but 3 tasks every 23 mins vs 3 tasks in 36 mins if run one at a time. Fans at 100% and temps around 57C which doesn't seem too bad..
With the higher thermals of fermi, as long as you can keep it under 80C I wouldn't worry...

Getting slightly concerned over my credit, after that outage all I get is 19K today - will keep an eye on it..

Would it have anything to do with the fact that fermi results will take a bit longer to validate as not many people are using the fermi's yet ?

Tried 3 at a time on 480 at stock, care to reccomend a shader o/c for it? Am running 470's at 1400 but not tried it on this yet as its in a not so good case for air cooling cheers Edge

Dont know really TTB as I dont have one, but I do know that they dont have as much headroom as the 470's.
Try 100Mhz intervals and watch your temps, Id also let each OC complete a batch of wu's so that you know there isn't a problem..
That worked for my 470...
But be careful as there isn't as much headroom, you could google your make of card + overclock to see what other people have manged to give you an idea

MSI Afterburner - if you need to up the GPU Vcore for stability.

Seems it's ok to up the Vcore to 1.087v (max with Afterburner) as the 470's can handle it. Just watch the temps as mine went upto 98c with fan @ +80%

Might have to give that a go as Im at 725 Core, up from 607 on stock, anything above that isn't stable. Upping the voltage might help, didn't want topush it too far as it is an ocuk value 470 by Sparkle..

My OcUK Value is by Inno - worked fine at 775/1550/3400
Just got too loud with the fans keeping the temps in check

So it's back down to stock until I can get a better cooling solution.

Thought I'd put it back to stock, but just checked:

I'd put the Vcore back to stock @ 950mv but left the clocks @ 750/1500/3400

Been running seti at these settings since noon.

If you can handle the fan noise Id go for the 800/1600/1848...

3wu's is too short a sample to get a real idea, but it will be faster...

hmmm yup you know me will try anything once, don't know why i was so wary of oc ing it either works or it doesn't and as long as i am not too eager i shouldn't blow anything up If you were running 3 480 on air would you stick with those settings Edge? Just one running on its own at present but it would get scorchio with 3 i am guessing

Oh, btw, if it don't work - the card will default to 2D settings to prevent damage.

Thanks Loudbob, am not as well versed in oc ing as yourself the thought of voltages etc scares me but a bit of tweaking i can handle.
How are things with your setup all ok i hope, i just know your not going to wait untill october-ish for your mega build
